Breeding Season

Well it's been a while since I've posted here but it's been exciting over the last few months - yep, the breeding season. I have paired James and Josie again this season and all signs are pointing towards another good year with ovulation noticed 1/9/11. It appears as though they have stopped mating now as well after a long winter of cuddling up together.
I have also put Taurus and Jane together this season and again signs appear to be good with I'm pretty sure ovulation witnessed 5/9/11.
Now for the Albinos.... I put Blaine over both Talia and Cindy but didn't notice any signs of mating. To be sure I salvaged something from the season with the Albinos I decided to alos put Charles in and alternate the two boys through the two girls enclosures. I did see signs of Charles and Cindy copulating but observed no other mating with the albinos. That said, I never actually witnessed Charles and Cindy mating last season either and Cindy still produced 8 beautiful eggs so all may not be lost. I have witnessed what I believe to be ovulation in Cindy on 5/9/11, and I think Talia is about to ovulate in the next day or so as she seems to be swelling so it could be a productive year yet for the Albinos, I just wont know who fathered the eggs until they hatch and I see what comes out. Given the two hets produced 5 albinos from 8 eggs last season, and it appears Talia may be showing positive signs, I'm sure I'll end up with at least a few "pink worms" in the new year.
